Description: Too much is so good, you can't stop eating it. The tandoor-baked breads are not mere swabs for sauce but could be eaten, and enjoyed, on their own; the naan with cilantro and rock salt is terrific, as is the kulcha richly stuffed with minced lamb. Masala Art offers
combinations you don't see often around here, but even its more familiar dishes can be revelations. Consider its samosas. They're flakier than a lot of the competition, and their filling of peas, potatoes and sweet raisins tastes fresher, too. A burst of cardamom in every bite helps. In the same vein, soft logs of minced lamb pulse with heat from jalapeno peppers, a shock offset with breezy mint. Pureed spinach is a vibrant green, flecked with corn and rich with garlic.

The unusual dishes and recipes of his region reflect the infusions from the Italians, Austrians, Hungarians, Slavs, Spaniards, French, Jews, Greeks, and Turks. In 2008 Bruno retired. His executive chef, Samuel Hernandez, now runs the restaurant. Excellent reviews have appeared in many publications including the list of The Bay Area's Top 100 Restaurants for eight consecutive years, Zagat, and the Michelin guide.

Description: "Top Chef" Season 4 winner, Stephanie Izard is chef / owner of this new restaurant in the west loop. The menu will consist of 30 items, separated in the categories of vegetable, fish, and meat, with all items meant to be shared. The goat empañadas was perfectly cooked and flaky while still being completely done. The ham frites are recommended, they are cooked in ham fat and dusted with a sort of bacon-infused cheese. Desert was excellent, the level of bacon flavor was appropriate for the mildness of the miso. The food, service and ambiance were all amazing. Reservations are hard to get, its worthwhile to get there early, put your name on the waiting list and sit at the bar while you wait for your table. They have a pretty big bar area to wait. There is also a great brew pup next door where you can go and have a drink while you wait.

Super restaurant. Avant Mexican fusion fare. inside and outside dining. We ate outside. Excellent service. The food was tasty and well done
